<P> 据英国媒体3月1日报道，现年11岁的英国女孩阿布尔-比托尔3岁时被开水烫伤，面部及全身皮肤落下难看疤痕。虽然历经数次痛苦的植皮手术，阿布尔仍然被学校的同学们戏称为“怪物”。</P>
<P> 日前，纽卡斯尔的医生们为她做了一台史无前例的先锋手术：先用镊子从她的耳后根提取一小块邮票大小的表皮细胞，然后送入实验室加以培养。数周之后，医生利用一种特殊的酶，将分离出来的单个细胞制作成一种悬浮液。

<P> 由于所有细胞都是从患者自己身上摄取的，所以阿布尔没有出现任何免疫排斥反应。几周过去后，奇迹出现了，阿布尔疤痕累累的脸上竟然长出了光滑细嫩的新皮肤，如同换了一场“新脸”。日前，她回到了家中。据悉，阿布尔是英国首位接受“喷补皮肤”手术的人。</P>
